A well known GLC company is in search for a Head of L&D (Academy).

Description

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to head the L&D function and strategy for one of the top GLCs in Malaysia.

What you'll do:
This role is vital in leading the capability and leadership development of business leaders through strategic approach of talent development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in shaping and defining regional and global leadership development programmes
  • Enhance internal capabilities of the workforce through various leadership programmes
  • Drive the programmes with support from dynamic team members on L&D specific initiatives
  • Measure, analyse and inform management on L&D decisions, impact and execution to the business
  • Deploy innovative, scalable capability building programs that extends beyond the conventional approach

What you bring:

To succeed in this Head Learning & Development role, you will need to have great strategic vision for people development especially for the leadership level and have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with division stakeholders as well as hiring managers across departments.

Key Requirements:

  • At least three years in a senior role of L&D, OD, or talent consulting
  • Ability to formulate and execute talent development programmes from end to end
  • Must have ACADEMY experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Business acumen and understanding of how organisational structures and dynamics relate to execution
