This role is a renewable fixed-term contract, offering the successful candidate the chance to make a significant impact on performance management cycles and learning & development initiatives.

The role is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers the chance to collaborate with senior leadership to understand organisational goals and talent needs.

What you'll do:

As a Manager of Performance Management & Learning Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this organisation. You will be responsible for developing talent development strategies that align with their objectives through deep involvement in identifying key competencies required for success within the organisation and designing programs to enhance these capabilities. You will also be tasked with delivering engaging training programs using a variety of instructional techniques. A key part of your role will be establishing a robust performance management framework that includes goal setting, appraisals, and feedback processes. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding managers and employees in addressing performance gaps while identifying opportunities for development.

  • Develop and implement talent development strategies in alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Identify key competencies and skills required for success in various roles within the organisation.
  • Design and execute programs to assess and enhance employee capabilities, including performance management, succession planning, career development, and leadership development.
  • Identify training needs based on individual and organisational requirements.
  • Utilise various instructional techniques and training methods, including e-learning, classroom sessions, on-the-job training, and mentoring/coaching programs.
  • Establish and maintain a performance management framework, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and feedback processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees in addressing performance gaps and identifying development opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance management systems to ensure fairness, consistency, and effectiveness.
