About the Retail Training Manager (Lifestyle/Sports) Role: This is a great opportunity for the Retail Training Manager to realign on global standards for all retail staffs and support the training modules in line with company vision and mission.
Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programmes for retail staff, ensuring alignment with the brand's values, product knowledge, and customer service standards
Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online modules, to support effective learning
Oversee the onboarding process for new retail hires, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles
Conduct orientation sessions and ensure new employees are introduced to the brand's culture, policies, and expectations
Keep abreast of new product launches, features, and technologies to ensure that retail staff is well-informed and can effectively communicate product benefits to customers
Organise product training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge among retail teams
Develop and deliver training programmes focused on improving sales techniques, customer engagement, and upselling strategies
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of sales training initiatives through performance metrics and feedback
Implement a performance evaluation system to assess the effectiveness of training programmes and identify areas for improvement
Work closely with store managers to address performance gaps and tailor training interventions accordingly
Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, merchandising, and operations, to ensure that training programmes align with overall business objectives
Foster positive relationships with store teams, providing ongoing support and guidance
To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, having high creativity and confidence level.
At least five years in a retail training role, preferably in the fashion industry
Experience managing a team of trainers is an added advantage
Great interpersonal skills with good communication in English and Bahasa
Dynamic, assertive, creative with good presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced moving business
