About the Associate Director, L&D Role: This role is for an experienced and innovative individual with a specialised focus on learning intervention strategies. You will be responsible for driving the design, development, and implementation of impactful learning interventions that enhance the skills and knowledge of their workforce. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create targeted learning solutions that align with their company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior leadership, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to identify learning needs and performance gaps within the organisation
Develop a deep understanding of the company's objectives, challenges, and industry trends to inform the design of effective learning interventions
Design and implement comprehensive learning strategies that incorporate a variety of modalities, such as workshops, e-learning modules, simulations, microlearning, and on-the-job training
Utilise data-driven insights and learning analytics to continually assess the effectiveness of interventions, making data-backed recommendations for improvement
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in L&D, as well as innovative intervention methodologies, and incorporate them into the L&D strategy.
Collaborate with instructional designers, content developers, and external vendors to create high-quality learning materials that engage learners and achieve desired outcomes
Lead the evaluation and selection of appropriate learning technologies and platforms that enhance the delivery and accessibility of interventions
To succeed in this Associate Director, L&D role, you will need to have strong passion in people development and bringing the best potentials in individuals, as well as good interpersonal skills with an ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline
Ability to work in an Individually Contributing portfolio
Proven work experience in learning and development, talent development, or a related field
Minimum of seven years' experience in learning and development, with a demonstrated focus on designing and implementing effective learning intervention strategies
Proven track record of creating and delivering successful learning interventions that drive performance improvement and skill development
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning evaluation models
Proficiency in using learning technologies and platforms to deliver and enhance learning interventions
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
