Their structure aims to enhance operational efficiency across the group by providing various business functions such as finance, human resources, information technology, customer service, and administrative support. They are recruiting for a Manager, Learning and Development job.
About the Manager, Learning and Development Role: In this role, you will be expected to deliver full coverage of learning interventions and solutions in supporting the shared services’ vision statement of being the group’s pre-eminent service partner.
Facilitates the creation of the organisational L&D strategy to fulfil training and development requirements; oversees training delivery, assessment, and necessary follow-up
Evaluates training needs for individuals, departments, and the organisation in consultation with department heads
Constructs training courses and programs essential to address training needs or manages this through external providers
Implements Leadership Essentials initiatives to induce changes in employee mindset and behaviour
Takes charge of planning and executing digital learning activities, consistently promoting this approach to learning
Identifies, chooses, and oversees external training and accreditation bodies, agencies, and providers required for maintaining training standards
Coordinates training venues, logistics, transportation, and accommodations as needed to ensure effective training attendance and delivery. Ensures maintenance of equipment and materials essential for effective training
Supports the implementation of Group HR initiatives at the local level
Assists in the individual development process by conducting interventions related to career discussions, coaching, and mentoring
Manages HRDF accounts, including grant and claim application
To succeed in this Manager, Learning and Development role, you will need to have solid experience in managing end-to-end affairs of L&D initiatives within a complex internal metrics and ability to manage timely deliverables.
Holds a degree in HR or Finance. Any L&D or Trainer certification is an advantage
Relevant practical experience in Total Rewards, with two to three years of experience at a regional or global level
Preference will be given to candidates with a combination of consulting and in-house experience in large multinational corporations (MNCs)
Be a collaborative team player, exhibiting curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Power BI or other analytical platforms is highly desirable
Prior experience using HRIS systems such as Workday is highly desirable
