A rapidly growing organisation is seeking a Global Human Resources Data Analytics and Operational Excellence Head to join their Kuala Lumpur office. What you'll do:

As the Global Human Resources Data Analytics and Operational Excellence Head based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be at the forefront of transforming how people data informs strategic decisions within a dynamic trading environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing advanced analytics frameworks that provide real-time visibility into workforce dynamics while collaborating with global colleagues to harmonise data governance practices.

  • Lead regional HR analytics initiatives to support business expansion, operational efficiency, and scalable talent solutions across diverse geographies.
  • Develop comprehensive dashboards and reporting frameworks that monitor critical HR metrics such as headcount trends, turnover rates, cost of hire, compensation competitiveness, and productivity per employee.
  • Transform complex data sets into clear recommendations for the senior leadership to enhance organisational culture and performance outcomes.
  • Partner with the Global HRIS and People Technology teams to ensure robust data integrity, standardisation, and automation across all global platforms including HiBoB, Revolut, Recruitee, Google Analytics, Tableau, and others.
  • Design and manage sophisticated workforce planning models that align talent supply with evolving business demands across trading, technology, and operations functions.
  • Identify emerging workforce trends such as mobility patterns, critical skill gaps, bench strength analysis, and attrition risks while developing proactive solutions in partnership with HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence.
  • Support scenario modelling and resource optimisation efforts across regions to ensure the right mix of talent for strategic growth while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Drive alignment between overarching business priorities and effective HR resource allocation through collaborative planning processes.
  • Act as the regional representative in global HR analytics forums by contributing to the development of international standards and best practice frameworks.
  • Coach HR professionals and business leaders on data-driven OKR tracking methodologies as well as performance analytics to build organisational capability.

What you bring:

To excel as a Global Human Resources Data Analytics and Workforce Strategy Leader you will bring extensive experience working at the intersection of human resources strategy and advanced analytics.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Human Resources Management, Economics, Statistics or a related discipline is required for this position.
  • Progressive experience in HR analytics, operational excellence or people strategy roles, preferably within financial services, trading or technology-driven sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of key HR metrics including compensation structures, workforce modelling techniques, headcount management principles and performance measurement systems is necessary.
  • Proficiency in using advanced HR analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau or SQL (or equivalent platforms) is expected for success in this role.
  • Strong project management skills combined with hands-on experience in building compelling data visualisations are important assets for this position.
  • Experience coaching others on data literacy concepts as well as supporting adoption of evidence-based decision-making practices within large organisations is desirable.
