Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to build, lead, and scale their HR department, driving talent acquisition, compliance, performance management, and a strong company culture as they grow.

Job Scope:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Build and scale the HR department as the company grows beyond 50 employees. Develop and implement HR policies aligned with IPO and governance requirements. Advise senior management on people strategy, organisational development, and talent management.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing senior and technical talent. Manage relationships with headhunting firms and plan hiring waves to meet growth targets.
  • Performance & Compensation: Implement KPI frameworks, performance appraisals, and competitive compensation packages. Oversee payroll, statutory contributions, and annual reviews.
  • HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and future listing requirements. Handle employment contracts, disciplinary actions, and internal investigations. Collaborate with legal on policy documentation and code of conduct.
  • Culture, Learning & Engagement: Develop onboarding programs, training calendars, and employee engagement initiatives. Foster a strong company culture through team-building, wellness, and CSR activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in scaling HR departments; leadership experience required.
  • Familiarity with IPO-readiness audits, ESOS structuring, and HR digitisation.
