What you’ll do

As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the organisation’s people strategy through thoughtful leadership and a strong strategic lens. You’ll be responsible for building HR frameworks that champion equity, inclusion, and employee well-being, while partnering closely with leaders to attract, develop, and retain diverse talent across the business.

  • Design and roll out HR policies and practices that uphold fairness, respect, and inclusivity at every level of the organisation.

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, working alongside hiring managers to attract high-quality, diverse talent and deliver a seamless candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding.

  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, providing empathetic guidance, resolving issues constructively, and fostering a culture of open and honest communication.

  • Drive performance management initiatives that promote continuous feedback, individual development, and recognition of achievements.

  • Identify learning needs and spearhead training and development programmes that support career growth and capability building.

  • Ensure full compliance with Malaysian employment legislation by maintaining accurate documentation and regularly updating HR policies.

  • Support payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with finance teams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication of entitlements.

  • Lead and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives that encourage equal opportunities and create a welcoming environment for all employees.

  • Provide strategic HR insights to senior leadership, offering data-driven recommendations on workforce planning, organisational change, and emerging HR trends.

  • Cultivate a collaborative workplace culture that values teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and mutual support across all functions.

What you bring

You are a people-focused HR professional with solid experience managing the full spectrum of HR functions in fast-paced, collaborative environments. You are known for your ability to connect with individuals at all levels and to navigate sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and sound judgement.

  • Demonstrated experience in human resources management within medium to large organisations.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and handle complex or sensitive matters with care.

  • In-depth knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, with hands-on experience in policy development and compliance.

  • Proven success in managing end-to-end recruitment processes and attracting talent from diverse backgrounds.

  • Experience implementing performance management frameworks that emphasise growth, development, and constructive feedback.

  • Capability in designing and coordinating training initiatives that cater to different roles and learning styles.

  • A genuine commitment to diversity and inclusion, supported by involvement in related programmes or initiatives.

  • Solid experience in payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and clarity in processes and communications.

  • Strong analytical skills, enabling you to interpret HR data and contribute meaningfully to strategic planning discussions.

  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders and support teams to achieve shared outcomes.
