This is a strong opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the people and culture of a well-established business, where your expertise is valued and fresh ideas are encouraged. The organisation offers a supportive working environment with access to professional development, structured training, and flexible working arrangements to support work–life balance. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping HR strategy, strengthening an inclusive workplace culture, and ensuring employees feel supported, engaged, and connected. If you are driven by people development, relationship-building, and positive change, this role offers the platform to thrive while making a real impact.

What you’ll do

As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, working closely with both leadership and employees to ensure policies are compliant, effective, and people-focused. You will lead recruitment initiatives, support employee relations, coordinate training programmes, and champion diversity and inclusion across the organisation. By tracking key HR metrics and supporting change initiatives, you will contribute directly to the organisation’s continued success. Your ability to communicate clearly, act with integrity, and build trusted relationships will be essential in fostering a workplace where employees can perform at their best.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with best practices and legal requirements.

  • Manage end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.

  • Advise and support managers and employees on HR-related matters, ensuring consistent and transparent communication across the organisation.

  • Promote an inclusive and engaging workplace culture through diversity initiatives, employee engagement activities, and open communication.

  • Lead talent acquisition efforts by partnering with hiring managers on workforce planning, job design, interviewing, and selection.

  • Coordinate training and development programmes that support employee capability-building and career progression.

  • Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, empathy, and strict confidentiality.

  • Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and engagement levels to inform continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and internal policies through regular reviews and updates.

  • Support organisational change initiatives by communicating effectively and providing guidance throughout transitions.

What you bring

You bring broad HR experience across key functional areas, combined with a genuine passion for people and organisational development. Your ability to balance empathy with sound judgement allows you to manage complex situations effectively while maintaining trust and professionalism. With strong communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset, you are able to influence positive outcomes and contribute meaningfully to business goals.

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end HR functions within a medium to large organisation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and connect with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Solid knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.

  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies that support organisational objectives and inclusivity.

  • Demonstrated capability in talent acquisition, including interviewing, assessment, and onboarding.

  • Experience designing and delivering training programmes that support ongoing professional development.

  • Sound problem-solving skills when managing sensitive employee relations or conflict situations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

  • Commitment to staying current with evolving HR trends and workplace practices.
