HR Manager
We are looking for an experienced and motivated HR Manager to lead the full spectrum of HR functions in our fast-growing semiconductor/chip industry organization. This role involves driving strategic HR initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Proficiency in Mandarin and a strong background in HR management within the chip/semiconductor sector are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Full Spectrum HR Management:
- Oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, training & development, and compliance with local labor laws.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

Talent Acquisition & Retention:
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent for technical and non-technical roles within the chip/semiconductor industry.
- Design and execute retention strategies to maintain a motivated and engaged workforce.

Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and promoting open communication.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace satisfaction and productivity.

HR Policies & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and regulations as well as internal policies.
- Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect changes in legislation or organizational needs.

Performance Management & Development:
- Implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee contributions effectively.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs to upskill employees in alignment with business requirements.

Strategic HR Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to forecast workforce needs and develop long-term HR plans.
- Provide insights on market trends in the semiconductor/chip industry to inform talent strategies.

Cross-Cultural Communication:
- Act as a bridge between local teams and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders (internal or external).
- Facilitate effective communication across diverse teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the semiconductor/chip industry or a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven track record in managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in multinational companies or cross-cultural environments within the semiconductor/chip industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with HR software/tools for efficient process management.
