What you'll do:
As the Human Resources Director based in this role, you will be entrusted with driving strategic HR initiatives that shape the organisation’s culture and support its long-term objectives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve partnering closely with senior leaders to advise on workforce planning, talent management, succession strategies, and organisational development.
- Develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that align with organisational goals, focusing on enhancing employee engagement and promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Partner with senior leadership teams to provide expert guidance on workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organisational development.
- Oversee employee relations matters with empathy and professionalism, ensuring fair resolution of issues while maintaining trust across all levels of staff.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes by identifying areas for enhancement and introducing best practices that benefit both employees and the business.
- Manage performance management systems to ensure clear communication of expectations, regular feedback, and recognition of achievements.
- Support learning and development initiatives by identifying skills gaps and facilitating access to relevant training opportunities for employees at all stages of their careers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that improve employee experience, well-being, and retention rates.
- Monitor HR metrics to assess effectiveness of programmes and provide actionable insights for ongoing improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations while upholding ethical standards in all HR activities.

- Extensive experience in human resources management within large or complex organisations, demonstrating a track record of successful partnership with senior leadership teams.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that drive positive cultural change across diverse workforce.
- Strong understanding of employment law, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards related to human resources practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to resolving employee relations matters sensitively and fairly.
- Expertise in designing effective performance management systems that encourage open communication, regular feedback, and recognition.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion through policy development and programme delivery.
- Experience supporting learning & development initiatives by identifying skills gaps and facilitating access to relevant training opportunities.
- Ability to analyse HR data using appropriate metrics tools to inform decision-making processes for continuous improvement.
