Senior HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic Senior HR Manager to lead and oversee the human resources function for a growing organization. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and practices that align with business objectives while fostering a positive and productive work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin.

1. HR Strategy & Planning:

   • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
   • Lead workforce planning initiatives to ensure optimal staffing levels.
   • Monitor industry trends and best practices to enhance HR processes.

2. Talent Acquisition & Management:

   • Oversee recruitment efforts to attract top talent across all levels of the organization.
   • Manage onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
   • Develop succession planning frameworks to build leadership pipelines.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement:

   • Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
   • Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively.
   • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.

4. Performance Management & Development:

   • Implement performance appraisal systems to drive accountability and growth.
   • Identify training needs and design development programs for employees at all levels.
   • Support career progression plans for high-potential employees.

5. Compensation & Benefits Administration:

   • Ensure competitive compensation structures aligned with market benchmarks.
   • Manage benefits programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

6. Compliance & Risk Management:

   • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
   • Mitigate risks by maintaining accurate records and documentation related to HR activities.

7. Leadership & Team Management:

   • Provide guidance and mentorship to the HR team members.
   • Collaborate with senior management on organizational development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in HR management roles, including leadership positions.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making purposes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the automotive or manufacturing industry is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Certification in HR-related fields such as SHRM or CIPD is an added advantage.
