What you'll do:
As a Human Resources Manager in our Shared Services team, your role will be pivotal in providing comprehensive HR support across the organisation. You'll be instrumental in driving talent acquisition strategies, managing employee relations, overseeing compensation & benefits administration and payroll processes. Your expertise will also be crucial in shaping learning & development initiatives and performance management systems. You'll provide valuable HR consultancy services on legal matters and company policies while supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Your ability to build strong relationships with internal clients as well as external vendors will be key in ensuring smooth operations within the HR department.
- Provide support on talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation & benefits administration, payroll, learning & development, performance management and culture transformation programs.
- Offer HR consultancy services to business leaders/employees on matters relating to employment law, labor regulations, company policies, practices and procedures.
- Partner with Business Leaders to understand business needs, develop strategies and implement initiatives to drive results.
- Support hiring managers with recruitment efforts.
- Provide advice, counsel and coaching to employees on people-related issues such as workplace conflicts, performance concerns and other personnel matters.
- Collaborate with the regional Talent Acquisition Team to execute end-to-end recruitment processes for open roles.
- Develop and manage relationships with internal clients, external vendors and agencies, and third party service providers.
- Manage, administer and communicate HR related policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws and corporate requirements.
- Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions for new hires.
- Support various projects and initiatives including onboarding, offboarding, training, engagement, diversity and inclusion.
What you bring:
As the Human Resources Manager, you bring a wealth of experience from a multi-national organisation and a strong background in an HR Generalist role. Your knowledge of Malaysia's employment laws, regulations and labour relations is extensive, ensuring compliance across all HR functions. You are comfortable working in an Agile environment and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings. Your strong communication skills enable you to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff, while your interpersonal and negotiation skills allow you to influence others positively. Your ability to balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity will be key to your success in this role.
- Bachelor's degree in business or human resources or equivalent experience preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in a multi-national organization.
- Experience working in an HR Generalist role.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Malaysia employment laws, regulations and labor relations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and staff.
- Ability to influence others through strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
