Our client is seeking a highly experienced Group HR Manager to join their team in Petaling Jaya. This role offers an exciting opportunity to implement and maintain the infrastructure of the Human Resource function for the Group, driving operational excellence throughout the organisation. * Implement and maintain HR infrastructure * Coordinate HR services and strategies * Drive operational excellence

What you'll do:

As a Group HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's organisation. You will be responsible for managing the Group Human Resource function, ensuring success in each area from strategic planning to manpower planning. Your role will involve developing the recruitment process, reviewing compensation schemes & benefits management, formulating performance appraisals and managing employee relations.

  • Develop organisational human resources strategy in compliance with company's strategy
  • Prepare HR budget and provide technical advice on HR matters
  • Set up working methodology for succession planning analysis
  • Develop recruitment and selection process ensuring compliance with local laws and standards
  • Review and analyse roles, salaries, ranking and benefit systems
  • Formulate effective Performance Appraisal policy and procedures
  • Set up policies for treatment of employees' conflicts
  • Review and assess HR systems working with vendors to provide best solutions

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Group HR Manager role brings a wealth of experience in retail or hospitality HR. With a minimum of 10 years' experience under your belt, including 5 to 7 years in a managerial position, you have proven your ability to manage large workforces in fast-paced environments. Your deep understanding of the full HR spectrum combined with your hands-on experience makes you an invaluable asset. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively influence others while your keen business sense allows you to understand each department's role and needs.

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in retail or F&B
  • 5 to 7 years in a managerial position
  • In-depth knowledge of full HR spectrum with hands-on experience
  • Experience as a HR Business Partner in a multinational company preferred
  • Proven track record in change management and talent management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
