Our client is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join their team in Petaling Jaya. This role is integral to the organisation, overseeing all aspects of Human Capital systems, maintaining and enhancing employee relations, programs, and practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing and delivering all HR activities; including staff administration, payroll management, medical benefits and claim management, process improvement, and HRIS system management. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organisation by developing new HR policies, strategies, procedures, and guidelines.

What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's organisation. You will oversee all aspects of Human Capital systems while maintaining and enhancing employee relations. Your role will involve strategising and implementing activities that support both business needs and HR goals. You will lead the development of new HR policies, strategies, procedures, and guidelines while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements. Your ability to identify training needs will be crucial as you develop training materials and facilitate training sessions for employees and managers.

  • Strategise, align and implement activities to support business needs and HR goals
  • Develop new HR policies, strategies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Lead and manage the implementation and execution of compensation and benefits programs
  • Provide professional leadership, support and development to HR staff
  • Identify training needs, develop training materials and facilitate training sessions for employees and managers
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation
  • Maintain HR data accuracy or data integrity in systems

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Manager position brings a wealth of experience in human resources management. With a minimum of 15 years' experience in the field including at least 5 years in a leadership role, you have developed strong leadership skills with excellent decision-making abilities. A strong understanding of employment laws and regulations is essential, as is your ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Min of 10 years of HR experience with at least 3 years in a HR leadership role
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
