An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join a dynamic electronics manufacturing and production firm based in Penang.

This role offers the chance to apply your expertise across the full spectrum of HR functions, including organisation planning, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, performance management, learning & development, and career management. If you are a progressive HR professional with a can-do attitude and a desire to take the next step in your career, this is the role for you.

What you'll do:

As an experienced Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's workforce. Your hands-on experience will be crucial in managing all aspects of Human Resources Management. You will work closely with senior leadership to identify staffing needs, implement recruitment strategies, manage employee relations, oversee payroll processes, and ensure recognition programs are in place. Your ability to think strategically while also being hands-on when required will be key to your success in this role.

  • Assist the Senior HR manager in daily HR Operations and initiatives to achieve operational efficiency and positive result in managing and maximizing human capital.
  • Collaborate with division heads to identify staffing and recruiting needs and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward, and Recognition.
  • Ensure sound HR practices, policies & procedures, and processes are in place to support the business operations and legal and statutory requirements.
  • Lead and develop a team of HR professionals to support the business and provide employee lifecycle services.
  • Undertake any tasks as assigned by Management.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Manager position brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of Human Resources Management. With at least 10 years of solid HR generalist experience under your belt, you have honed your stakeholder management & business partnering skills. Your strong business acumen is complemented by your analytical thinking abilities. You are known for your excellent communication skills which aid you in negotiation and conflict resolution. Your in-depth knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations ensures that you are always compliant.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or any related field.
  • At least 10 years of solid HR generalist experience with strong stakeholder management & business partnering skills.
  • Experience in setting up the department and growing a team would be an added advantage.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to be hands-on when required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
