A well establised manufacturing/construction company based in Pekan Nenas is looking for a hands on HR Manager who is ready to take up the challenge of driving HR strategies alongside an expansion plan.

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources (HR) Manager to join their team in the construction manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in maintaining a productive and compliant workplace, supporting the overall strategic goals of the company. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, driving employee development initiatives, and enhancing employee engagement.

What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the work environment. Your primary responsibility will be to develop HR policies tailored to the construction manufacturing industry while ensuring legal compliance. You will also design comprehensive employee development programs that foster skill enhancement, performance improvement, and career growth. Your role will involve coordinating training sessions on various topics such as safety, compliance, technical skills, etc. Furthermore, you will be tasked with enhancing employee engagement through various initiatives. Compliance with all employment laws is paramount in this role. You will also maintain accurate employee records while respecting confidentiality. Collaborating with senior management to develop HR strategies that align with the company's objectives is another key aspect of your role.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Manager position holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. A Master’s degree would be an added advantage. Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is a plus. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industries. A strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, including OSHA standards, is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are required for this role. You should have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR programs and initiatives. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information are also crucial.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
