An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the human resources function within the Retail industry. This role offers the chance to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business strategy, manage the recruitment process, foster a positive work environment, ensure compliance with labour regulations, and effectively manage local labour.
What you'll do:
As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the workforce of our Retail company. You will a be tasked with setting up the HR processes, managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that every new hire is onboarded smoothly. In addition to this, you will assess training needs, developing comprehensive programs that enhance employee skills while boosting overall productivity. Compliance is key in this role; you will need to stay abreast of local, state, and federal labour laws while overseeing compensation packages. Lastly, your role will involve collaborating closely with our safety team to maintain a secure working environment.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in HR management within construction industry. You will have a strong academic background, ideally holding a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. Your knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations will be second to none, and you'll have proven experience managing foreign labour. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities are also key.
