Our client is seeking a HR Business Partner to join their team. This role is more than transactional; it's about being a trusted advisor, shaping strategic initiatives, and fostering global partnerships to drive organisational success.

What you'll do:

As a HR Business Partner, your role will be pivotal in shaping strategic initiatives and fostering global partnerships. You'll work closely with an ambitious Head of HR to make an impactful difference to our organisation. Your responsibilities will include translating high-level business strategies into impactful people initiatives, partnering with Talent Acquisition to design and execute innovative strategies for workforce planning, talent attraction, and hiring. You'll also facilitate talent discussions, performance calibrations, and succession planning with senior leaders.

  • Elevate the HR function by driving strategic alignment and championing transformative people initiatives.
  • Translate high-level business strategies into impactful people initiatives.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to design and execute cutting-edge strategies for workforce planning, talent attraction, and hiring.
  • Facilitate talent discussions, performance calibrations, and succession planning with senior leaders.
  • Act as a catalyst for change, driving employee engagement and effective organisational development.
  • Collaborate with HR Operations to implement core initiatives and share best practices.
  • Leverage HR analytics to provide actionable insights.
  • Provide strategic coaching to leaders on people-related issues.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the HR Business Partner role will bring a wealth of experience from previous roles within multinational companies. You should hold at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or a relevant field. Your sound knowledge of Malaysian employment law and legislation will be crucial in this role. Proven experience in areas such as performance management, talent management and employee engagement is essential. Exceptional people skills and the ability to network effectively with senior stakeholders are key to success in this role. You should also be confident in working with data and HR systems.

  • A passion for HR Business Partnering.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or a relevant field.
  • At least 7 years of experience of working as a HR Business Partner in a multinational company.
  • Sound knowledge of Malaysian employment law and legislation.
  • Proven experience in areas such as performance management, talent management and employee engagement.
  • Exceptional people skills and ability to network effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal (English) as well as non-verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence in working with data and HR systems (Workday is a plus).
