An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Senior HR Manager to lead and execute human resources activities across three countries, namely Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. This role is pivotal in driving HR practices and objectives that foster an employee-oriented high-performance culture emphasising quality and productivity.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing processes and metrics that support the achievement of our client's business goals.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our client's business operations across Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Your expertise in managing all aspects of Human Resources will be vital in fostering an environment that prioritises quality and productivity. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that all HR strategies align with the company's overall objectives. Your ability to handle multiple priorities effectively will be essential as you navigate through various responsibilities such as talent acquisition for senior roles, managing compensation and benefits schemes, identifying training needs, preparing insightful HR reports, managing budgets related to HR expenses, and overseeing general administration tasks.

  • Manage and develop all HR functions for the company
  • Update and maintain employee handbooks, develop training programs, and execute performance management process
  • Facilitate employee complaints, mediate conflicts, and provide support and guidance on HR-related issues
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Refine job descriptions, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions for senior roles
  • Manage the administration of monthly payroll, employee benefits programs, and execute the payout of commissions and incentives for the sales force
  • Identify training needs, develop training programs, and track the effectiveness of training initiatives
  • Prepare HR reports for management, analyse data on employee turnover, and identify trends and areas for improvements in the HR function
  • Consolidate data on Employee related budget, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Headcount cost and other HR expenses
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of company facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive workplace while upholding compliance and cost efficiency

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Human Resources Manager position brings a wealth of experience from a minimum of 10 to 15 years in the field. Your strong analytical skills coupled with your excellent stakeholder management abilities will be key in driving the company's HR strategies. Your ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results will be crucial in this role. You should have a proven track record as a HR Leader (Generalist) with regional experience, preferably in a multinational environment. Experience in talent management, succession planning and development tailored to the needs of employees and the business is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or any relevant discipline
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of HR experience
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
  • Proven track record as a HR Leader (Generalist) with regional experience preferably in a multinational environment
  • Experience in talent management, succession planning and development to the needs of employees and the business
  • Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge
