Our client is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join their team in Kedah. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide expertise, advice and counsel in various areas of Human Resources including recruitment, compensation & benefits, labour relations, performance management and learning & development. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment, supporting HR Manager in HR administration for North Malaysia entities when necessary.
What you'll do:
As a Senior HR Generalist, your role will be multifaceted with responsibilities ranging from talent acquisition to performance management.
- Assist HR Manager and departmental managers to finalize Position Plan for each department.
- Implement recruitment plan and establish cost-effective recruitment channel.
- Coordinate recruitment, screening, interviewing, selection, and placement of qualified candidates.
- Provide remuneration and benefits support including: managing data quality audit, compensation model training & guidance.
- Perform employee communications, such as pre-employment screening, responding to routine questions on human resources policies and procedures.
- Support managers and employees in making sure performance management is properly administered.
- Ensure timely and appropriate internal activities are carried out and responsible for general employees' compliants/performance cases
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior HR Generalist position brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field of Human Resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 7+ years HR experience especially in recruitment and C&B under multinational manufacturing environment.
- Knowledgeable on function specific activities, such as recruitment techniques , HRIS, Compensation.
- Knowledgeable on employment laws, HR procedures and practices.
- Experience in handling labour disputes, conducting investigations and hearings.
- Proficient in Microsoft and other office software.
