About the HR Manager Role: This role is looking for an HR Manager who will lead and oversee all human resources functions for this company's presence in Malaysia market. The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team to ensure that the employees are supported, motivated, and aligned with the company's goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and values
Performance Management: Develop and implement performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, feedback, and career development plans
Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding HR policies, performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development
Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to attract, select, and onboard top talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce
Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses, health and wellness benefits, and other employee perks
Training and Development: Identify training and development needs and create programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including EA 1955, IR 1967 OSHA 1994, ESS Act 1969 and other relevant laws
HR Administration: Oversee HR administrative tasks, such as employee record management, payroll processing, and benefits administration
Employee Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by organising employee engagement activities and events
To succeed in this HR Manager role, you will need to possess a strong stakeholder engagement capabilities and have the passion to transform HR as a function to enable the business grow further.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (master's degree is preferred)
Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR role, preferably in the tech industry
In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Experience in talent acquisition, employee development, and performance management
Knowledge of compensation and benefits administration
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
