An attractive HR and Admin Manager (Retail) job has just become available within the retail industry based in Kuala Lumpur.
About the HR and Admin Manager (Retail) Role:
In this role, you will be the number two to the Head of HR and lead end-to-end HR matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the focal point for the business in all aspects of the HR functions
- Play a strategic role to the senior management by bringing an HR perspective to the table and provide analytical solutions when required
- Manpower development - maintain work structure by developing job descriptions for all positions
- Construct and implement HR strategies, policies and the HRIS system
- Oversee payroll, annual performance review cycle and ensuring compliance and equity
- Resolve employee relations issues and address grievances
To succeed in this Senior HR Manager role, you must have strong stakeholder engagement skills, great analytic skills, be perceptive and agile, and possess sound knowledge of HR and the experience managing a team.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree
- At least five years of work experience in a similar role, particularly within the retail industry
- Good knowledge of Local Employment Act
- Strong consultative, coaching, communication and influence skills
- Hands-on and strong leadership skills
