Learning and Development Lead

About the Learning and Development Lead Role:
In this role, you will focus on onboarding, training needs analysis, implementation of various development initiatives and look at the strategic effectiveness of their current programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategise and devise short- and long-term learning and development initiatives for staff in the commercial and corporate functions
• Manage learning and development expenses through cost control, efficient use of resources and continuous improvement
• Design and implement specific leadership development programmes
• Establish a training evaluation structure that allows for measurement, evaluation and corrective actions of the training effectiveness
• Promote positive external relations and develop/maintain contacts to promote the products and employment brand
• Identify, develop, update and maintain policies and procedures in support of holistic approach to company’s learning and development initiatives

To succeed in this Learning and Development Lead role, you will need in-depth experience in the field, including strategic and operational knowledge.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in learning and development with at least two years in an assistant manager level position
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a must
• Must know how to apply learning theory and techniques, employee development trends and e-learning
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
