About the Head of Human Resources Role:
As the Head of Human Resources, you will play a key role in leading the HR activities and initiatives for the company. You are also required to ensure continuous development in human capital and overall success aligning to the business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall management of all human resource policies and practices
• Proactively provide guidance on all people and organisational matters, with the skill to think creatively around a problem and the foresight to spot and flag potential issues
• Drive the talent management, reward and recognition with the aim of ensuring a meritocratic approach to reward and promotion
• Ensure employee at all levels to encourage individual creativity and encourage increased levels of employee retention
• Develop and oversee talent acquisition strategies and processes
• In-charge all HR projects and initiatives
  

To succeed in this Head of Human Resources job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with key stakeholders and all of the employees within the organisation.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent
• Minimum of 12 years' experience in HR with eight years of experience in a management/ leadership role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong stakeholders engagement skills
• Working in the plantation industry is an added advantage
• Ability to become an effective change agent and able to prioritise the initiatives accordingly
• Strong business acumen with full understanding of the way an organisation operates to meet its objectives
