A new Assistant HR Manager job has just become available at one of the region's leading organisation in the fashion retail industry. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will primarily be responsible for the IR and ER functions.
About the Assistant HR Manager Role:
In this role, the Assistant HR Manager will ensure HR objectives are aligned with the organisation's overall goals. This includes talent development, employee engagement and HR excellence.
- Assessing and continuously improving the HR policy and practices
- Responsible for employee relations and industrial relations issues
- Supporting the company business continuity plan for the region
- Providing information to the employees by answering questions and requests regarding payroll and social legislation
- Liaising with the function heads to understand all necessary aspects and needs of associates' training and development, ensuring that they are fully informed of the associates' training and development objectives, purposes and achievements
- Reviewing and finding opportunities to listen and share information with team members through forums
- Responsible for HR administration, mainly in recruitment
In order to succeed in the role as an Assistant HR Manager, you must have the focus and drive to meet all the deliverables within the time frame provided.
- At least three years' experience in the retail industry
- Degree holder in Human Resources / Business or any other related discipline
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills
- Ability to speak in Mandarin will be an added advantage as the stakeholders involved are proficient in the language
