Our client is seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to join their dynamic APAC team. Based in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur, this role offers an exciting opportunity to support a broad spectrum of HR functions across multiple regions including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore.

The successful candidate will be involved in onboarding and offboarding processes, benefits administration, monthly reporting, employee engagement initiatives, D&I activities, HR statutory compliance, learning and development programmes, performance management and day-to-day human resource operations.

What you'll do:

As an HR Coordinator for our client's APAC team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the full spectrum of Human Resources functions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing both onboarding and offboarding processes for employees across various regions. You'll also handle important tasks such as tracking work pass applications and administering employee benefits. Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining HR records and administering the HR Information System. Your role will also involve supporting various employee engagement initiatives and Diversity & Inclusion activities. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while making significant contributions to the team.

  • Handle all new hire onboarding process including background screening, employment offers, new hire setup and enrolment, compliance training, probation and confirmation.
  • Track and manage work pass applications, renewals, cancellations and other related matters across the region.
  • Handle all off-boarding process for leavers.
  • Manage HR audits and administer customer audits.
  • Handle employee benefits administration including medical, employee insurance, leave accruals, service awards etc.
  • Manage HR records and e-documents and administer HR IS (Oracle).
  • Collate and compile APAC Monthly reports including employee and headcount reporting.
  • Support the coordination and administration of all employee training activities.
  • Support and assist with all employee engagement and D&I activities.
  • Manage all HR Vendor invoicing and processing.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this HR Coordinator role brings a wealth of experience from their previous roles within the HR field. You have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Your strong operational skills, coupled with your ability to handle confidential matters with integrity, make you an ideal fit for this role. You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to interact effectively with team members across various regions. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential for this role. Your ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and passion for HR will be key to your success in this fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resource with at least 2 years relevant working experience.
  • Strong operational skills within the HR field.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with integrity.
  • Solid Microsoft office skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin.
