What you'll do:

As Senior Manager, Total Rewards Asia Pacific you will play a central role in designing and implementing reward strategies that drive employee engagement while supporting business objectives across diverse markets. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with senior leaders to refine benefit offerings; leveraging HRIS systems for efficient process automation; providing expert advice on compensation matters; mentoring team members; managing vendor relationships; overseeing expatriate administration; leading process improvements; communicating policy changes; supporting new entity integrations; maintaining accurate data within HRIS platforms; participating in employer branding efforts; and ensuring seamless delivery of annual reward cycles. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration as well as analytical acumen to interpret market trends—enabling you to deliver solutions that are both competitive and compliant.

  • Support the development and execution of a comprehensive reward strategy for the Asia Pacific region, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance with local regulations.
  • Lead the integration between reward strategy and operational delivery by partnering closely with HR Operations, Advisory teams, Finance, Legal, and external vendors.
  • Mentor and guide the Senior Rewards Analyst APAC as well as coach other HR colleagues on all aspects of total rewards.
  • Drive the evolution of policies covering pay, incentives, benefits, expense allowances, and terms of employment across APAC, proactively responding to organisational growth and regulatory changes.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver annual reward events such as pay reviews, bonus cycles, and benefits renewals to ensure smooth execution aligned with business needs.
  • Optimise employee benefits by evaluating existing offerings, deploying new programmes, automating enrolment processes via HRIS platforms (such as Workday), and managing relationships with brokers and providers.
  • Provide analytical support for compensation management including job architecture development, benchmarking activities, salary guidance creation, and market data analysis.
  • Oversee expatriate management by supporting immigration processes, international contracts administration, relocation activities, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives for reward processes by mapping new workflows and communicating policy updates clearly across the organisation.
  • Participate in talent attraction and retention initiatives by creating compelling communications around benefits packages and organising educational events to increase awareness among employees.

You possess advanced analytical skills essential for interpreting industry benchmarks—enabling you to recommend competitive yet sustainable solutions tailored for diverse workforces. Your communication style is clear yet empathetic—ensuring stakeholders feel supported throughout change initiatives. Experience working within manufacturing or operations settings equips you with practical insight into unique workforce needs while your proficiency with HRIS tools ensures seamless process execution. Additional exposure to job evaluation frameworks or sector-specific challenges further enhances your ability to add value from day one.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification demonstrating strong academic grounding relevant to Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Substantial experience managing international compensation and benefits programmes within complex organisations operating across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with HR colleagues at all levels to deliver effective reward programmes that meet both business needs and employee expectations.
  • Demonstrated skill in coaching, mentoring, and managing less experienced team members as well as non-specialist colleagues on total rewards topics.
  • Excellent English language communication skills enabling you to translate technical concepts into clear guidance for stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong analytical capabilities allowing you to review market data critically and provide actionable insights for compensation benchmarking and salary guidance development.
  • Experience supporting large direct labour or blue-collar employee populations within manufacturing or operations sectors—ideally in 24/7 environments.
  • Competence in using HRIS platforms (especially Workday) for benefits administration, data management, process automation, testing new functionalities or modules related to compensation management.
  • Familiarity with job evaluation methodologies (such as Aon-Radford, Mercer or WillisTowersWatson surveys) is highly desirable along with exposure to public company environments involving salary management and incentive compensation planning.
  • Additional qualifications or experience in medical devices or high-tech sectors; certifications in compensation/benefits/job evaluation/HR; or background in employee relations/employment law/payroll would be advantageous.
