Senior Specialist, Payroll

Our client is seeking a Senior Specialist in Payroll to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with contractors, management companies, and consultants. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will be key in processing contractor's time sheets and expense claims.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Specialist in Payroll, your primary responsibility will be to process contractor's timesheets and expense claims. You'll ensure that all documentation is in order, from gaining the necessary approvals to ensuring that invoices align with our contracts. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in managing the invoicing cycle, resolving any disputes that may arise. You'll also act as the liaison between management companies and consultants, proactively addressing any issues before they reach the payroll processing stage. In addition, you'll cover your teammates' duties during their absence, demonstrating your flexibility and commitment to the team.

• Process contractors' timesheet & expenses claim for EU, US and APAC offices
• Ensure all timesheet and expenses claim are orderly processed with required approvals and supporting documents
• Manage invoicing cycle and resolve invoicing disputes
• Liaise between management companies and consultant to resolve any dispute prior to payroll processing
• Proactively resolve payment/ invoice discrepancy with relevant stakeholders independently
• Cover teammate’s duties when they are on leave or open for rotation of scope within Pay/bill function

What you bring:

As the ideal candidate for the Senior Specialist, Payroll position, you bring along 2-3 years of relevant work experience. Your excellent problem-solving skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail make you stand out. You possess strong oral and written communication skills in English which enable you to effectively liaise between various stakeholders. Your ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines showcases your commitment towards delivering quality results. Furthermore, your strong interpersonal skills allow you to thrive in a diverse cultural environment. Prior knowledge or experience in payroll processing within a shared service environment or recruitment sector would be an added advantage.
