Senior Manager, Human Resources

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior HR Manager to lead and execute Human Resources activities for their business operations across Southeast Asia. This role will cover all aspects of Human Resources and General Admin functions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group CHRO in driving HR’s practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented high-performance culture that emphasises on quality and productivity.

As a Senior Manager in HR, you will be at the forefront of managing human resources activities across multiple countries in SEA. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities from updating employee handbooks to executing performance management processes. You will be instrumental in facilitating employee relations by mediating conflicts and providing guidance on HR-related issues. Your expertise will be crucial in refining job descriptions, conducting interviews, making hiring decisions for senior roles, managing compensation and benefits, identifying training needs, preparing HR reports for management, analysing data on employee turnover, identifying trends for improvements in the HR function. You will also manage the HR budget including Employee related budget, headcount cost and other expenses.

  • Manage and develop all HR functions for the company
  • Update and maintain employee handbooks, develop training programs, and execute performance management process
  • Identify training needs, develop training programs, track effectiveness of training initiatives
  • Prepare HR reports for Management, analyse data on employee turnover, identify trends and areas for improvement in the HR function
  • Consolidate data on budget, Annual Operating Plan, headcount cost and other expenses
  • Facilitate employee complaints, mediate conflicts, and provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related issues
  • Update and streamline changes to employment laws and regulations ensuring compliance
  • Refine job descriptions, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions for senior roles
  • Manage administration of monthly payroll with the payroll vendor, employee benefits programs such as health insurance
