Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced APAC Total Rewards Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with market HR teams and business leaders, contributing significantly to the design and implementation of compensation structures within the region.

The successful candidate will have the chance to leverage global programs, practices, and technology to harmonise them into one flexible benefits plan for a consistent and best-in-class employee experience.

What you'll do:

As an APAC Total Rewards Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's reward strategy. Your primary responsibility will be working closely with market HR teams and business leaders on policy matters. You will also conduct current state assessments, prepare compensations for proposed salary offers, and deliver market data analysis. Furthermore, you will design and maintain target suite of benefits within one or more countries. Your role will also involve managing recurring processes such as annual compensation reviews, salary planning, and budgeting.

  • Work closely with the Regional Head of Reward in drafting and updating policy.
  • Conduct a current state assessment with a heat map and potential risk.
  • Prepare the Compensation for proposed salary offers and adjustments.
  • Build and maintain an excellent understanding of overall compensation philosophy.
  • Deliver market data analysis.
  • Design and maintain target suite of benefits within one or more countries.
  • Support to manage the recurring processes, including the annual compensation review process.
  • Leads Compensation & Benefits projects implementation as assigned.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the APAC Total Rewards Manager position brings a wealth of relevant experience from a similar environment. You have spent 8-10 years honing your skills in complex cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams. Your exceptional analytical skills are complemented by your ability to build rapport and trust with key stakeholders. You possess strong knowledge of the local regulatory environment for each market within the region. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is required along with prior experience working on Job Architecture.

  • 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience working in complex cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with key stakeholders.
  • Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the local regulatory environment for each market within the region.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration) or equivalent experience required.
  • Exceptional analytical skills (Excel, PowerBI)
  • Prior experience of working on Job Architecture
