This role will be instrumental in the ideation, design, and execution of the company's rewards plan within the realms of their compensation & benefits programs. The aim is to ensure market competitiveness and maintain its attraction for employee retention.

What you'll do:

As a Manager for Compensation & Benefits, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's rewards strategy. You will leverage your expertise in compensation & benefits to conduct market research, initiate improvements, lead salary reviews, and ensure policies remain up-to-date. Your responsibilities will also include job grading, HR budget preparation, report production, and ensuring data governance. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the company's attractiveness as an employer.

  • Leverage on market insights to conduct benchmarking on pay and benefits survey to gather data in supporting the liaising team
  • Initiate improvement and maintain compensation & benefits policy and procedures
  • Lead the end-to-end yearly salary review process and aligning to Group & Board standards in preparation for proposals
  • Timely review of compensation & benefits policy remains up to date in line with company's employment contract, employee handbook and any other internal documents
  • Execution of job grading and evaluation activities
  • HR budget preparation and produce reports to the management team
  • Ensures data governance and improvement of operational performance

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Manager, Compensation & Benefits role is someone who brings a wealth of experience in compensation & benefits strategy execution. You should have a strong academic background with at least a bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration. Your expertise should extend to salary design frameworks, benefits enhancement, and ideation of new benefit proposals. Strong analytical skills are essential for this role, along with excellent communication abilities for effective stakeholder management. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is also required.

  • Candidates must possess a minimum bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or any relevant areas
  • A subject matter expert in C&B with proven record of execution for C&B strategy; e.g. salary design framework, benefits enhancement, ideation of new benefit proposal
  • Sound knowledge and familiarity with job evaluation exercise
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Great communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders well
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point
