Account Executive

What you'll do:
As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance across your assigned territory in Petaling Jaya. By leveraging CRM tools and analytical insights, you will monitor inventory levels and sales trends to optimise account revenue. Your ability to provide comprehensive operational support—including managing orders, handling returns, addressing consumer complaints, and facilitating credit terms—will be essential for delivering exceptional service. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail when reporting product issues or complaints, and adaptability when taking on ad-hoc assignments that contribute to broader organisational goals.
- Cultivate and maintain positive business relationships with customers, gathering valuable business intelligence to inform sales strategies.
- Develop daily call planning routines tailored to customer profiles and classifications within your designated area, ensuring effective journey planning and persuasive selling presentations.
- Prepare for each customer interaction by setting clear selling objectives and equipping yourself with all necessary sales materials and tools.
- Utilise CRM systems such as Salesforce.com to manage selling objectives, monitor inventory levels, and generate sell-through status reports for territory outlets.
- Execute quarterly promotional activities in alignment with Sales and Marketing objectives using persuasive selling skills presentations.
- Secure or maintain merchandising space in territory outlets by promoting products through point-of-sale marketing materials.
- Monitor customer spend trends and implement strategies to maintain or increase share of spend for vision care products within assigned outlets.
- Provide operational support by understanding sales ordering processes, product exchanges, returns, consumer complaints handling, credit terms, and sales collection procedures.
- Promptly report any adverse events or product complaints related to products according to established protocols.
- Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management to support overall business objectives.
