As Senior Sales Manager Medical Technology in Petaling Jaya, you will play an instrumental role in steering the operational direction of MedTech products across Malaysia.   • Oversee all operational aspects of the MedTech business in Malaysia including product strategy implementation, commercial management, sales and marketing activities, medical affairs coordination, device registration processes, and technical service delivery.
  • Manage full profit and loss responsibility for the Malaysian market by ensuring financial targets are met through effective planning and execution.
  • Drive achievement of company sales objectives by successfully managing country operations with a focus on topline revenue growth and EBIT performance.
  • Recruit, mentor, and nurture the sales, marketing, and services team to build a collaborative environment that supports individual development and collective success.
  • Monitor expenses related to sales events and sample usage to ensure cost-effective practices are maintained without compromising quality or customer engagement.
  • Plan activities for the sales and service teams to promote commercial excellence while aligning with broader organisational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to develop and implement business plans that adhere to budgetary guidelines and strategic priorities.
  • Manage relationships with distributors and agencies by ensuring alignment with company strategies, compliance with contractual obligations, and achievement of agreed-upon targets.
  • Lead efforts to identify new market opportunities as well as further growth potential within existing business segments through data-driven analysis and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on sales performance, sample utilisation, expenses, and other key metrics as required by management.
  • Work alongside Supply Chain Management to enhance forecast accuracy through monthly rolling sales forecasts (IBP).
  • Build strong customer relationships by developing Key Opinion Leader (KOL) programmes and maintaining ongoing engagement with influential stakeholders.
  • Coordinate tender submissions by liaising with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of documentation that meets all requirements.
  • Monitor distributor performance closely to guarantee successful execution of business strategies according to established plans.
  • Lead the service team in providing periodic technical maintenance for medical devices so customers receive dependable support throughout their product lifecycle.
  • Undertake ad hoc assignments as directed by senior leadership when necessary.
