As a Senior Key Account Specialist – Pharmacy Sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving annual sales objectives within your designated customer base.   • Maintain and nurture positive business relationships with key account customers in the pharmacy sector, ensuring consistent communication and understanding of their needs.
  • Gather valuable business intelligence from assigned accounts to inform strategic decision-making and enhance sales performance across the territory.
  • Develop daily call planning routines tailored to customer profiles, including journey planning, setting clear selling objectives, preparing persuasive presentations, and organising sales equipment.
  • Utilise CRM tools such as Salesforce to manage selling objectives, monitor inventory levels, and generate detailed sell-through status reports for all territory outlets.
  • Execute quarterly promotional activities in alignment with sales and marketing strategies using effective presentation techniques to maximise product visibility.
  • Secure or maintain merchandising space within territory outlets by leveraging point-of-sale materials and promotional assets to drive product awareness.
  • Increase customer share of spend for products by analysing throughput trends and implementing targeted sales initiatives within assigned outlets.
  • Provide comprehensive operational support to customers by facilitating sales orders, handling product exchanges and returns, addressing consumer complaints, and managing credit terms and collections efficiently.
  • Promptly report any adverse events or product complaints related to products to relevant internal stakeholders for swift resolution.
  • Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management to support overall business objectives.

  • Fluency in both spoken and written English as well as Bahasa Malaysia enables you to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in sales, key account management or customer-facing roles ideally within healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors demonstrates your capability for success.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing account revenue highlights your results-oriented approach.
  • Experience managing key accounts or strategic customers provides you with insights into complex client needs.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce is advantageous for streamlining account management processes.
