Our client is seeking a highly skilled Franchise Manager with a focus on surgical medical devices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead business planning, develop strategies, and drive market-leading growth in the medical device sector. The successful candidate will have the chance to build strong relationships with key accounts and healthcare professionals, ensuring their company becomes the preferred partner of choice.

What you'll do:

As a Franchise Manager (Surgical), you will be at the forefront of driving growth in the medical device sector. Your role will involve leading annual business planning, developing strategies, managing daily advertising, sales promotion activities, and providing input for product development. You will also be responsible for communicating and tracking short- and long-range sales plans. Your leadership skills will be crucial in guiding your team towards achieving business goals.

  • Lead the annual business planning process and ensure purposeful objectives are set and developed.
  • Develop Malaysia strategy in support of regional and country's strategic plans.
  • Lead a team of Sales Managers and Sales Executives towards executing sales and marketing activities.
  • Participate in top-to-top management business reviews with key accounts and Health Care Professionals.
  • Ensure team activities and programs are healthcare compliant.
  • Execute commercial strategies, go-to-market capabilities, and provide coaching to grow team’s development.
  • Manage daily advertising and sales promotion activities.
  • Provide input for the development of products and anticipate customer needs.
  • Develop and implement sales processes and pricing models.
  • Communicate and track short- and long-range sales and marketing plans.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Franchise Manager (Surgical) position brings a wealth of experience from the medical device industry. With 8-10 years under your belt, you have a proven track record in business development and sales. Your excellent interpersonal skills enable you to influence across teams effectively. You think globally but act locally, driving high performance even in complex environments. You are results-driven, ready to travel as needed, and hold a Bachelor's degree or higher.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education level.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a medical device company.
  • Strong business development experience with a good sales track record.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with strong ability to influence.
  • Global Leadership Orientation with ability to drive high performance in complex environments.
  • Results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
