Product Specialist (Medical Imaging)

Our client is seeking three dedicated and knowledgeable Product Specialists for their Medical Imaging division, each responsible for different regions in Malaysia. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to provide leadership in a defined area of responsibility, with accountability for business growth objectives, customer relationships, clinical education, key accounts management, distributor coordination and other marketing/sales projects.

What you'll do:

As a Product Specialist in Medical Imaging, your role will be multifaceted. You will formulate and execute business plans for your assigned area, performing market analytics to identify trends and opportunities. Your excellent skills in key account management will be crucial as you spearhead account penetration strategies. You will engage with Key Opinion Leaders in the Diabetes Care business, enhancing the company's image within the industry. Your ability to track business performance and maintain accurate records of sales activities will contribute to your success in this role. Additionally, you will drive sales through distributor sales teams and deliver on special projects assigned by Business Leader or Regional Management.

  • Formulate and execute business plans for the assigned area

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Product Specialist role brings a wealth of experience and skills to the table. With a degree in Nursing, Science or Biomedical, business, or equivalent, you have spent at least five years honing your sales and marketing skills within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Your extensive knowledge of local healthcare markets and practices sets you apart from others. Experience in the Diabetes Care therapeutic area would be advantageous. Your proven expertise in Key Account Management is complemented by strong analytical and negotiation skills. Above all else, your excellent communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with customers.

  • Degree in Nursing, Science or Biomedical, business, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years sales and marketing experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industry
  • Extensive knowledge of local healthcare markets and practices
  • Experience in Diabetes Care therapeutic area preferred
  • Proven expertise in Key Account Management
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skill
