Our client is seeking a seasoned Head of Business Development for their healthcare clinics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of private healthcare operations, regulatory frameworks, and public-private partnerships. Candidate with medical degree would be highly advantageous.

What you'll do:

As the Head of Business Development for our client's healthcare clinic, you will play a pivotal role in leading their business growth initiatives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term strategies for revenue growth and market expansion, and fostering a culture of innovation within your team. You'll also be expected to navigate complex corporate environments effectively, working closely with executive teams, board members, and investors. Your strong negotiation skills will be crucial in securing beneficial partnerships and contracts. Throughout all this, you'll ensure operational sustainability even as you drive growth.

With at least 15 years' experience in business development or senior leadership roles within a corporatised healthcare organisation under your belt, you have a proven track record of leading business growth initiatives and expanding healthcare networks. Your deep understanding of Malaysia’s healthcare ecosystem and private healthcare operations sets you apart. You're no stranger to mergers & acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, or strategic alliances in the healthcare sector. Your exceptional financial acumen extends to P&L management and investment analysis. Above all else, your strong leadership abilities shine through in your negotiation skills and stakeholder engagement.

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in business development or senior leadership roles within a corporatised healthcare organisation
  • Proven track record of leading business growth initiatives and expanding healthcare networks
  • Strong understanding of Malaysia’s healthcare ecosystem and private healthcare operations
  • Experience in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, and strategic alliances in the healthcare sector
  • Exceptional financial acumen, including P&L management and investment analysis
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
