Clinical Specialist (Diabetes)

Our client is seeking a Clinical Specialist (Diabetes) to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide leadership in the defined area of responsibility, with accountability for business growth objectives, customer relationships, clinical education, key accounts management, distributor coordination and other marketing/sales projects.

What you'll do:

As a Clinical Specialist (Diabetes), you will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing business plans for your assigned area. You will spearhead account penetration strategies, identifying key hospital personnel and critical links to install, develop and expand our client's portfolio. Your ability to build strong relationships with key opinion leaders within the Diabetes Care business will be crucial. You will also be responsible for driving sales through the distributor sales team and delivering on project milestones as assigned by Business Leaders or Regional Management.

• Formulate and execute business plans for the assigned area
• Spearhead account penetration strategy – identify key hospital personnel and critical links to install, develop and expand portfolio
• Identify and build relations with key opinion leaders of the Diabetes Care business in your area
• Responsible for meeting annual business growth
• Drive sales through Distributor sales team
• Deliver milestones of projects that might be assigned by Business Leader or Regional Management
• Motivate distributor representatives/merchandisers in achieving/exceeding objectives

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Clinical Specialist (Diabetes) role will bring a wealth of experience from the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. With a minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and marketing, you will have extensive knowledge of local healthcare markets and practices. A degree in Nursing, Science or Biomedical, business, or equivalent is required. Experience in the Diabetes Care therapeutic area is preferred but not essential. Your proven expertise in Key Account Management coupled with strong analytical and negotiation skills will set you apart.

• Degree in Nursing, Science or Biomedical, business, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years sales and marketing experience pharmaceutical or medical device industry
• Extensive knowledge of local healthcare markets and practices
• Experience in Diabetes Care therapeutic area preferred
• Proven expertise in Key Account Management
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skill
