Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sales Executive to join their pharmaceutical team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop business plans aligned with strategic objectives, establish strong customer relationships, and leverage commercial programs to enhance product awareness. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high productivity levels through field visits to customers, differentiating products from competitors.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Executive in the pharmaceutical industry, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's business. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of developing a comprehensive business plan that aligns with the company's strategic objectives. Your deep understanding of the respective area and priority products will enable you to maintain and enhance knowledge of products, product strategy, positioning, key messages, programs, company developments, customers, and competitors. Your ability to build strong customer relationships will be crucial in maximizing sales volume and achieving sales targets.

  • Develop a business plan that aligns with the company's sales strategies and objectives.
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of products, product strategy, positioning, key messages, programs, company developments, customers, and competitors.
  • Establish segmentation & targeting to incorporate into the business plan.
  • Ensure high levels of productivity through field visits or calls to customers.
  • Build strong customer relationships with the objective of maximizing sales volume.
  • Leverage on commercial programs, literature, and other items to ensure physician awareness of products.
  • Differentiate products from all competitors and respond to customer issues confidently and appropriately.
  • Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development.

What you bring:

The ideal Sales Executive candidate brings a wealth of skills and qualifications to this role. With a minimum Bachelor’s Degree required (Science degree preferred), you should have at least two years' experience in sales; experience in pharmaceutical sales would be advantageous. Your fluency in English (both written and spoken) will aid in building strong customer relationships while your strong negotiation skills will help maximize sales volume. Your analytical skills will be essential in developing effective business plans.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required; Science degree is preferred.
  • Technically knowledgeable with a minimum of two years’ sales experience; preferably in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Fluent and proficient in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
