Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Medical Representative to join their team in Johor Bahru. This role offers the opportunity to shape business goals and represent the company in identifying the right patients for the right products. The candidate will be responsible for exploring opportunities with targeted healthcare professionals, establishing targeting strategies, and driving strategic approaches aligned with brand strategy.

What you'll do:

As a Medical Representative, your primary role will be to represent our client in identifying the right patients for the right products. You will engage with healthcare professionals based on shared values and expectations, exploring opportunities to expand reach and introduce a range of products for appropriate patients. Your responsibilities will also include establishing segmentation & targeting strategies, achieving Good Selling Outcomes, and driving strategic approaches aligned with brand strategy. You will plan and execute representative-led activities such as webinars and group doctor meetings, monitor sales performance regularly, and demonstrate agility in implementing changes according to market dynamics.

  • Identify targeted patients for appropriate products through engagement with healthcare professionals
  • Explore opportunities with targeted healthcare professionals to expand reach and access
  • Establish segmentation & targeting strategies and incorporate into business plans
  • Achieve Good Selling Outcome to deliver on sales expectations
  • Drive strategic approach align with Brand Strategy via Territory Business Planning
  • Plan and execute representative-led activities such as webinars and group doctor meetings
  • Monitor sales performance regularly and recommend territory action plans
  • Demonstrate agility in implementing changes according to market dynamics

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Medical Representative role brings a wealth of experience from the pharmaceutical industry, specifically within sales. With a minimum of 3-5 years' experience under your belt, you are ready to take on this challenging role. You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, are willing to travel as required, and have possibly had experience launching new innovative therapies. Your strong presentation skills are matched by your analytical mindset and organisational abilities. You understand the importance of patient-focused selling and are accountable for the impact of your work. Your communication skills are top-notch, and you thrive in a team environment.

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years Sales experience in Pharmaceutical industry
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Experience with launching new innovative therapies is a plus
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset with planning and organization skills
  • Accountability for impact through patient focus selling
