An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Regional Business Development Manager to join a leading organisation in the medical device industry. This role offers the chance to drive brand recognition and financial growth across the regional market.

What you'll do:

As a Regional Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the medical device portfolio. Your primary focus will be on building robust strategies for your assigned market, nurturing relationships with stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting deal execution. You will also be responsible for mentoring distribution personnel, ensuring they are proficient in supporting the products and services. Your ability to coordinate effectively with sales & marketing teams will be crucial in reviewing current market trends and proposing innovative business ideas. Additionally, you will take an active role in training staff, conducting performance evaluations, and creating detailed sales plans to meet revenue objectives.

* Build and implement a business strategy for the assigned market in line with overall business objectives

* Mentor distribution personnel and evaluate their proficiency in support of company products and services

* Ensure high level of distributor capabilities to serve and develop customers in the assigned geography

* Develop good working relationships with stakeholders through HCP training/education, set/implant planning, and New Product Launches

* Coordinate with sales & marketing to review current market trends to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue & margins

* Support deal execution including due diligence coordination and maintaining BD pipeline reports, market mapping and trackers

* Train and coach staff to improve effort and performance

* Conduct performance evaluations

* Build and complete detailed sales plan to achieve revenue objectives

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Regional Business Development Manager position brings a wealth of experience from the medical device (Orthopaedic) field, with a minimum of 5 years under their belt. You will have proven experience in distributor management and the ability to manage people effectively, as this role has the potential to evolve into a people management position. Your experience working in SEA markets will be invaluable in this role. Your degree level or equivalent experience will provide a solid foundation for your success.
