An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Sales Executive in the field of Life Science Solutions. This role offers the chance to promote cutting-edge analytical and life science product ranges, while establishing strong business relationships with a diverse customer base. This role requires extensive travel across Malaysia, offering a dynamic work environment and the chance to make a real impact in the life sciences sector.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Executive for Life Science Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our state-of-the-art analytical and life science product ranges. You will implement strategic sales and marketing activities to achieve set goals and annual sales targets. Your role will involve gathering valuable market intelligence within your assigned territories, enabling us to stay ahead of industry trends. You will also be responsible for nurturing existing customer relationships through regular communication and personal interaction. Your ability to submit timely reports on forecasts, weekly progress, monthly highlights, and other relevant data will contribute significantly to our strategic planning.

  • Promoting our Analytical & Life Science product ranges to our customers
  • Implementing sales and marketing activities relevant to achieving set goals/annual sales targets
  • Gathering market intelligence for assigned territories
  • Pursuing new sales opportunities and establishing strong business relationships with current and future customer base
  • Maintaining and developing a relationship/good rapport with an existing customer in person, via telephone calls and emails
  • Timely submission of forecasts, weekly reports, monthly highlights and other related reports to management

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Executive position will bring a solid academic background in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related field. Prior experience in selling laboratory instrumentation would be a distinct advantage. As this role involves extensive travel across Malaysia, you must possess your own car and a valid driving license. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to build and maintain robust business relationships with our diverse customer base. Your excellent communication skills will ensure effective rapport with customers via telephone calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Sciences or equivalent
  • Prior experience in selling Laboratory instrumentation is highly desirable
  • Must possess own car and valid driving license
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Malaysia
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Excellent communication skills for effective rapport with customers via various channels
