Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Product Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your therapy and product knowledge in a competitive market, while prioritising selling activities through effective account management.

What you'll do:

As a Product Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and managing accounts within your assigned territory. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include achieving sales quotas, identifying new business opportunities, and applying your extensive product knowledge to differentiate our offerings from competitors. You will also be expected to monitor sales against forecasts, provide valuable feedback for marketing policy development, and work closely with customer service teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge.

* Achieve sales quotas through the direct sale of products or services

* Prioritise selling activities via account/territory management, including understanding key decision makers, buying influences and processes

* Identify and call on existing and prospective customers to understand and meet their needs

* Apply therapy and/or product knowledge to differentiate products from competitors

* Monitor sales against forecasts and participate in determining market potential for the territory

* Proactively seek new business opportunities to secure sales

* Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain competitive positioning

* Coordinate and participate in major marketing initiatives such as exhibitions, symposiums, promotional campaigns etc.

* Provide feedback for the development of marketing policy, recommended product revisions and pricing changes

* Work closely with customer service and operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Product Specialist role will bring a wealth of experience in managing hospital accounts and solutions selling. You should have a degree in Nursing, Science, Pharmacy or equivalent, and at least 5 years' experience in a similar role. Your ability to manage a territory with minimal supervision, coupled with your experience in tender management, will be key to your success in this role. We are looking for someone who consistently meets or exceeds goals, demonstrates ownership for achieving results, and understands and promotes compliance with policy and legal obligations. Project management skills and willingness to travel are also essential.

* Degree in Nursing, Science, Pharmacy or equivalent is preferable

* At least 3 years’ experience of managing hospital accounts and pharmaceutical drugs

* Ability to manage territory/region with minimal supervision

* Experience in tender management is an added advantage

* Demonstrated track record of consistent performance delivering high quality sales effort and target achievement

* Ability to conduct CME and product training to HCPs

* Ability to manage different and additional portfolios

* Accepts personal responsibility; self-motivated, demonstrates ownership for achieving results; consistently meets or exceeds goals; operates in accordance with global business practice standards; understands and promotes compliance with policy and legal obligations

* Project management skills

* Willingness to travel: Travelling is required and may involve visits to urban areas either individually or with other personnel to complete course of work as well as to attend meetings, conferences, training
