What you'll do:
As a Senior Medical Affairs Manager, your role will be pivotal in shaping the medical strategy of our client's organisation. You will engage with key external stakeholders, generating valuable insights that will inform the development of impactful medical strategies. Your expertise will also be crucial in conducting advisory board meetings and working closely with the Country Medical Lead to forge strong partnerships with country stakeholders. Furthermore, you will provide strategic scientific direction for the therapeutic area and support business development efforts through your strategic input into product development.
- Engage with external stakeholders such as medical societies, academic institutions, and opinion leaders
- Generate insights through customer engagements and translate these into medical strategies
- Conduct advisory board meetings with different stakeholders as needed
- Work with the Medical Lead in developing partnerships with country stakeholders
- Provide strategic scientific direction of the therapeutic area
- Support the Business Development efforts of the company through strategic input into product development
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Medical Affairs Manager position brings a wealth of skills and qualifications. You hold a Medical Degree from a reputable school recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and have at least five years' experience in medical affairs, clinical affairs, or regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical industry. Prior clinical practice experience in Local Primary or Tertiary Healthcare would be advantageous. Your comprehensive understanding of quality and regulatory requirements across various disciplines sets you apart. Additionally, your excellent communication skills enable you to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Medical Degree from a reputable school recognised by Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in medical affairs, clinical affairs, or regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical industry
- Prior clinical practice experience in Local Primary or Tertiary Healthcare is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements across a range of disciplines
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with internal & external stakeholders
- Proficient in English, BM
