Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Associate in Medical Affairs to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build up medical affairs competency in Asia, supporting aggressive business expansion. You will be instrumental in establishing medical partnerships with both external and internal customers, providing support to healthcare professionals and ensuring sound clinical knowledge of the company's products.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Associate in Medical Affairs, your role will be pivotal in providing medical and scientific support for our client's products. Your responsibilities will include developing strategic scientific programs, supporting sponsored research, providing medical inputs, communicating customer feedback, driving KOL mapping, interacting with professional relationships with KOLs and medical advisors/institutes, and generating medical insights. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the company's growth in Asia.

  • Develop strategic scientific programs to address unmet clinical needs
  • Support sponsored research and potentially serve as a study lead
  • Provide medical inputs and bring in customer insights from the medical perspective
  • Communicate customer feedback on product development and life-cycle strategies
  • Drive key opinion leader (KOL) mapping and development plan
  • Interact with & develop professional relationships with KOLs and medical advisors/institutes on clinical practice
  • Generate medical insights through advisory boards/expert meetings, publications, scientific engagements with HCPs and other medical activities such as early access programs

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Associate in Medical Affairs position will have a degree in Medical Science or a related discipline. You should have at least 4 years' relevant experience, preferably within the medical device industry. A demonstrated ability to be knowledgeable in a specific disease area is essential. Experience in clinical study management and good knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) are required. Excellent analytical, project management, influential and communication skills are also crucial for this role.

  • At least 4 years' relevant experiences, preferably in the medical device industry
  • Demonstrated ability to be knowledgeable in specific disease area
  • Experience in clinical study management and good knowledge of GCP
