About the Medical Advisor Role:
The role will be a key part of the medical affairs team, providing medical and scientific expertise to support product portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies to ensure the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products. This position is essential to our commitment to advancing healthcare through science and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Medical Expertise: Stay current on scientific and clinical advancements, providing insights into emerging trends in the therapeutic areas relevant to the products
• Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and medical organisations, fostering collaboration and gathering valuable insights
• Clinical Data Analysis: Evaluate clinical trial data, scientific literature, and real-world evidence to support evidence-based decision-making for product development and lifecycle management
• Medical Education: Develop and deliver medical education programmes for internal teams, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, including providing medical input for regulatory submissions and responses
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, market access, and medical affairs, to develop and implement medical strategies for our products
• Adverse Event Reporting: Handle adverse event reporting, providing expert assessment and guidance in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Scientific Communication: Prepare and review scientific publications, presentations, and materials related to the products
• Product Training: Support the training of sales teams, medical science liaisons, and other colleagues on product-related medical and scientific information

To succeed in this Medical Advisor job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively across all the teams.

Key Requirements:

• Medical Doctor’s degree or Ph.D. with a relevant background is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of the therapeutic areas relevant to the products, with a minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in medical affairs or related roles
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret clinical data
• Regulatory knowledge and experience in medical affairs is a plus
• Strong organisational and project management skills
