Senior Medical Writer

About the Senior Medical Writer Role:
As a Senior Medical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content for the organisation tailored solutions to address the medical communications objectives of their client partners (e.g. pharmaceutical, governmental or healthcare providers).

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquire and maintain a deep scientific understanding of clients' brand portfolios in order to provide tailored and insightful advice on medcomms solutions
• Use scientific knowledge to create high-quality content to meet client objectives whilst adhering to compliance and editorial quality standards
• Build knowledge of key opinion leaders in key therapeutic areas and liaise with them to ensure the successful delivery of medical communications projects

To succeed in this Senior Medical Writer job, you must be a creative, innovative, and positive individual with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team setting. You must have learning agility and client engagement mindset.

Key Requirements:

• Graduate degree in the sciences (PhD, MSc, BSc); healthcare science degree a plus (MD, PharmD, BPharm)
• At least three years of scientific/medical writing experience, preferably in a MedComms agency or pharmaceutical Medical Affairs setting
• Experience in running or facilitating advisory boards, scientific meetings, webinars, etc., is highly preferred
• Complete fluency in written and spoken English (an IELTS score of ≥7.5 or an equivalent benchmark)
• Ability to distil complex scientific concepts into clear, concise messages
• Attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
