What you'll do:
As a Business Strategy and Market Intelligence Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic direction. Your primary responsibility will be to generate insights through detailed analytics and reports that aid senior management's decision-making process. You will also be involved in leading strategic initiatives across various departments within the organisation. Additionally, you will support the MD's office by creating materials for presentations and other events. Your role will also involve conducting thorough research on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that could impact the business. Furthermore, you will spearhead market intelligence efforts to provide valuable insights for the business. Lastly, you will serve as a trusted advisor to internal clients by understanding their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
- Produce periodic analytics and related reports to assist in senior management's decision-making
- Create, analyse, and validate data/indicators in the business
- Assist in leading/managing strategic initiatives across the Group
- Support MD’s office with the creation of material for presentations and other related events
- Conduct research on pertinent strategic issues including competitor monitoring and industry trends
- Monitor the regulatory/government policy/investment framework and identify its impact on the business
- Lead market intelligence efforts and studies for business
- Serve as a trusted advisor to in-house clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Business Strategy and Market Intelligence Specialist position brings a wealth of experience in business intelligence and market research. With your degree in Business or Economics or a related discipline, you have spent 5-7 years honing your skills in these areas. An understanding of the medical equipment industry would be highly beneficial. Your high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint enables you to present data clearly and effectively. Your strong interpersonal skills allow you to build relationships with internal clients, while your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to provide valuable insights for the business. Your professional written and verbal communication skills in English language are essential for this role. Lastly, your quantitative mindset and good analytic capability will be key in driving strategic decisions.
