Our client is seeking a dedicated Associate Director for their Protective Intelligence function. This role is integral to the company's Security and Resilience organisation, leading a team of analysts who service the company’s 24/7 crisis management contact point. The candidate will contribute to programs including Insider Risk, Executive Protection, Strategic Intelligence, Travel Risk Management, Product Integrity, and Crisis Management.

What you'll do:

As an Associate Director in Protective Intelligence, your role will be pivotal in leading a team of analysts who provide round-the-clock monitoring, collection, and assessment of events. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of protective intelligence reporting under the guidance of the Director of Protective Intelligence. Your expertise will be crucial in authoring strategic security forecasts that keep senior management informed about the continuously changing threat landscape. You will also provide country-specific assessments that enable the corporate Executive Protection Program. A significant part of your role will involve operationalising the Global Travel Risk Management program.

  • Lead a team of intelligence analysts who provide 24/7 monitoring, collection and assessment of events
  • Ensure quality of protective intelligence reporting and adherence to standards
  • Author strategic security forecasts to keep senior management informed of changing threat landscape
  • Provide country specific assessments that enable the corporate Executive Protection Program
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Operationalise the Global Travel Risk Management program
  • Provide open-source threat intelligence trainings to analysts
  • Serve as direct manager for the Analysts ensuring 24/7 coverage of the Security & Resilience Center

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Associate Director - Protective Intelligence position brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in protective intelligence from either public or private sector. You possess deep expertise on geopolitical issues and are proficient in multi-source intelligence collection, assessment, and dissemination. Your understanding of the intelligence cycle, including analytic methodologies and techniques, is exceptional. With strong project management skills, you are capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Your strong oral and written communication skills, especially in preparing clear and concise summaries of critical events in a timely manner, will be highly valued.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, Political Science, International Relations or related field
  • 5 years’ relevant experience with protective intelligence in either public or private sector
  • Deep expertise on geopolitical issues
  • Expertise in multi-source intelligence collection, assessment and dissemination
  • Knowledge of the intelligence cycle, including analytic methodologies and techniques
  • Project management skills; Ability to perform multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • English language fluency
